Smart Houses, Do You Know How Does it Work?
Updated: Nov 27, 2019
The "SMART HOUSES" it's giving more and more interest in people, and has been a real revolution and sensation in the technology market. But after all, what are and how do such smart houses work? Let's find out!
What is a Smart House?
In a simple and objective way, as the residences are the residential or office spaces (commercial) that can be configured as those that have a high integration of computer systems, the advanced Automation Systems, like ours! With this, environments are subject to monitoring and control over various functions of environment components. It is important to note, however, that a home with lighting sensors and appliances is that the pre-programmed cycles are only small examples of home automation, and an idea of a Smart House is something much bigger: a project for an environment equipped with a diversity of comfort-oriented devices, an energy task, a digital particle emission, and a central one with a central point. The fundamental pillars of an intelligent home are 3: Design, technology and the environment. The items are inseparable and create a structure in the environment that meet as the needs of the individual.
What is a Smart House?
Smart Homes work as we mentioned earlier through the integration of handsets and a control system software (Residential Automation System) accessed by a control method, of which the most used are: wall mounted electrical panels and applications for smartphones and tablets . These sophisticated automation and cabling systems converge with a set of actuators that are connected to computerized control centers to produce integrated solutions for automation of residential services. It is a multidisciplinary work since a project involves, in addition to the personnel of the technology area, the architect, the builder and logically, the user of the system. This interaction is possible due to the advancement of wireless network connections and the "Internet of Things", which is in short, a set of technologies that provides the connection of all types of equipment to the online world. In this way, the devices integrated with the system and accessed by the controllers in the possession of the user can evaluate a large set of information quickly and, thus, make the routine of a person more agile and connected. Therefore, it is necessary to have a project, specific appliances and a team to install everything necessary to create the intelligent environment. In the present times, the residential projects include adaptations of technologies to the own civil construction project, with systems and equipment integrated in the different environments, that can be designed according to the needs and expectations of each consumer.
What are The Advantages of a Smart Home?
With regard to the advantages of this concept, we can emphasize practicality, comfort, economy and safety. These factors are provided by the ability to connect and disconnect the various electronic devices of the residence in an automatic (pre-programmed) and remote, as well as real-time access to all information and integrated component.
